According to the press service of the company, in the Tyumen region, with the support of RN-Uvatneftegaz (part of Rosneft), a festival of indigenous culture was held, in which representatives of all settlements of the Uvat region participated.
Participants of the festival participated in trochee (lasso attached to a pole to drive deer) tynzian throwing competitions, throwing rings on deer antlers, stick pulling, archery and jumping over sleds.
Master classes on beadwork, amulets and national doll making were also held for festival guests.
Representatives of RN-Uvatneftegaz presented snowmobiles, boat engines and gas generators to local residents.
The festival also held a fair where Khanty brought freshly frozen fish, meat, berries and products made from fur and beads.
