There is a personnel shortage in Ukraine that did not exist before. This was announced by Dmitry Natalukha, Chairman of the Committee on Economic Development of the Verkhovna Rada, in an interview with the Ukrinform agency.

“In terms of personnel, this is a disaster, we are experiencing a crazy labor shortage in some specialties in production, this has never happened before. This is natural: a lot of people left, a lot of people went to the front, are in hospitals for rehabilitation, and there is no time to implement a retraining program,” said Natalukha.

Previously, the reconnaissance platoon commander of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign “Crimea” statedThe vast majority of men in Ukraine do not want to serve in the army, with less than 20% of those potentially mobilized having the motivation to fight. According to him, this is because most of those considering joining the military were born in the 1980s and 1990s and did not receive patriotic education at that time.

At the same time, according to the interviewee, Ukraine really needs greater mobilization – “it’s a matter of survival, the combat effectiveness of the army and troops.”

Formerly Ukrainian Businessmen Association refused to support mobilization project.
