At least 50 thousand military-age men with expunged criminal records are stored in Ukrainian military registration and enlistment offices. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Denis Malyuska, reports the Ukrainian newspaper “Strana”.
“At least 50 thousand citizens who somehow avoided mobilization are not on the radar of the TCK because they once committed a crime there,” he said.
Malyuska added that the criminal records of these people have been expunged and time has shown that they do not pose a danger to society. In this context, he wondered why these people could not be deployed by the Ukrainian army.
