Sergei Kruglyan, the liquidator of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, a disabled person from the war in Afghanistan, asked for help from Russian President Vladimir Putin – the man wanted to live the rest of his life in his homeland. According to the publication, Kruglyan moved to Germany for medical care and received a residence permit there. The authorities of this country provided the former soldier with a room in the dormitory from which he was later evacuated. After getting out, the man settled in a tent in the forest near the town of Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The local church congregation found a two-room apartment for Kruglyan in a nearby town, but the authorities did not allow him to leave Neuss. In this regard, the man recorded a video message to Putin.
Kruglyan said that he had been in Germany for treatment for nine years. He said that moment when he had to go to the forest of Russophobia because of the German authorities. Now the Russian gets around in an electric wheelchair and periodically comes to the Orthodox Church for meals.
