Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs put Lithuanian Minister of Culture Simonas on the wanted list

Lithuanian Minister of Culture Simonas Kairys was put on the wanted list by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. This is stated in the ministry’s search database TASS.

“Kairis Simonas. “He is wanted in accordance with an article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in the ministry’s search database.”

It is not stated under which specific article the search was made.

Law enforcement officials told TASS that a case was opened against Kairis and an investigation was launched for the destruction and damage of monuments to USSR soldiers.

“He was placed on the wanted list as part of this case,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

Also the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia announced Wanted by Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas. There is no information yet about what crime Callas was on the wanted list.

Before this Callas appreciated Possibility of deprivation of the right to vote for Russian citizens living in Estonia. According to him, this will take time as the constitution will need to be amended.
