On February 11, the parents of a nine-year-old boy contacted the police and demanded that the person who cheated on their son be brought to justice. Before this, the third grader was playing a popular online game and clicked on a link on the Internet platform. Then the boy entered the chat of one of the instant messengers and was offered to buy game currency.
The interlocutors advised the child to borrow money, and he applied for a remote microloan using the parent’s data. After that, the boy transferred 54 thousand rubles to the account specified in the message. Law enforcement authorities opened a criminal case regarding the incident. An investigation is underway.
