Russian Su-35S fighter jet hit the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the direction of Kupyansk. This was reported by RIA News Referring to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the ministry, the Su-35S pilot was conducting a combat mission escorting bombers when he detected radar emissions from territory under Ukrainian control.
The message says, “An air-to-radar missile was launched at the target… According to the intelligence report, it has been confirmed that the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit.”
As a result, the S-300 complex was destroyed.
