FSB arrested a foreigner in Kamchatka for encouraging terrorism

In Kamchatka, the FSB detained a foreign citizen on the grounds that he encouraged terrorism on social networks. This was reported by RIA News.

According to the source, the man published a video on his page on social networks, in which calls were made to join the armed struggle against dissidents on the side of terrorist organizations.

A criminal case was opened against him under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Public appeals to terrorist activities, public declaration and terrorist propaganda using the Internet”). The man was detained.

Previously, employees of the FSB of the Russian Federation detained a resident of Volgograd for distributing extremist materials online. A criminal case was opened against the detained man under Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, titled “Public appeal to extremist activities”.
