The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading a law on tightening mobilization in Ukraine. Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak talked about this on his Telegram channel.

“The bill was adopted without a commission proposal. Then changes will be made until February 21 and the second reading,” Zheleznyak wrote.

329 MPs voted in favor of the bill, 12 MPs voted against it, and 45 MPs abstained.

The bill includes tightening mobilization rules. The document mentions the introduction of electronic subpoenas, the possibility of limiting the rights of smugglers, to a driving ban and blocking bank accounts. Other restrictions are expected.
