Houthi leader threatens to further escalate tensions in the Red Sea if attacks on Gaza are not stopped
Abdul Malik Badradín al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi rebels in Yemen, warned the USA, the UK and Israel that if the attacks on the Gaza Strip are not stopped, they will begin a greater escalation in the Red Sea.
“Whatever the evil trio does will not affect our position or limit our capabilities and operations,” he stressed in his speech, adding that his forces would seek to “escalate further and further” if the attack on Gaza does not end.
Al Houthi also gave assurances that the United States would use the Marshall Islands to hide its ships in the Red Sea to carry out military operations, YPA news agency reported.
