As SHOT journalists wrote, rescuers discovered part of the fuselage of the aircraft and a large hole in the designated search area, located about 20 kilometers from the village of Derevyannoye. It is estimated that the helicopter broke the ice during the fall and sank to the bottom, which caused the emergency beacon to malfunction and disrupted the search process.
Since the depth in this region has reached 50 meters, rescue teams plan to continue working in the disaster area with the help of divers in the morning.
