Life’s turning points cause many people to be unable to find a job for different reasons. When you become unemployed and registered, whether due to lack of experience, because it is a mass industry, or any of these BASKET You have certain responsibilities.
Therefore, if the commitments accepted by the State Public Employment Agency are not fulfilled, a sanction may be taken for this. It may even cause you to lose the benefit you received.
The most basic ones are the usual ones: stamping the unemployment card, actively looking for work or keeping an eye out for courses that SEPE can offer and help with. Among these names, we will devote the next few lines to active job search.
When we register with SEPE, we are expected to be interested in finding employment within our means and to give up being part of the inactive population. Therefore, one of the commitments of the State Public Employment Agency is “to find suitable placements and to participate in actions that increase placement opportunities (among them vocational training).”
Rejecting a job offer
The problem arises when we receive a job offer suitable for our profession and it is rejected without any justifiable reason. This is considered a “serious violation of beneficiaries and benefit applicants.”
This results in the following sanctions:
-
Loss of benefits for the first time for three months.
-
Losing benefits for the second time for six months.
-
If it happens for the third time, the aid ends.
It is important that the job offer complies with our conditions:
-
The job must be related to our job profile.
-
It should suit your abilities.
-
It must also be related to the beneficiary’s last occupation.
-
Salary must be equal to or greater than SMI.
-
The workplace must be located less than 30 kilometers from the beneficiary’s habitual residence.
So if it doesn’t meet any of these conditions, we need to justify it. Otherwise, the sanction process may cause you to lose the benefits you receive from the state.
