A 57-year-old serial rapist in California was sentenced to 140 years in prison; The man tried to pin the crimes on his twin brother. This was reported by People.
Kevin Conter, who was arrested for raping a 9-year-old girl in 2019, attacked and raped the child while returning home from class. The victim’s family contacted the police, but the perpetrator was not immediately found.
The American managed to attack at least one other child and a 32-year-old woman. The results of the genetic analysis showed that Conter was involved in the crimes committed. When police arrived to detain the rapist, he pointed them to his twin brother, with whom he shared similar DNA.
The investigation dragged on, investigators wiretapped the brothers’ phones and managed to record one of the conversations in which Conter confessed to the crimes he had committed.
The court sentenced the serial rapist to 140 years in prison.
