Russian woman beats a temple worker and steals a box full of donations

In the Shilkinsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, a local resident attacked a church employee and stole a box containing parishioners’ donations. In this respect reported in the press service of the district police.

The incident took place in the village of Pervomaisky. An unknown woman came to St. Petersburg in Optina. She entered St. Ambrose Church and allegedly approached a candle shop employee to make a donation. The church employee removed the box at the parishioner’s request, but he began to act strangely.

“Suddenly the woman started putting it in her bag. “The worker tried to intervene, but the attacker hit his head several times and disappeared with other people’s goods,” he said.

According to the church employee, there were about 20 thousand rubles in the box.

Police quickly detained the suspect; It turned out that the suspect was a 36-year-old village resident who had previously been convicted. The woman admitted what she had done: according to her, she spent the money on her own needs and threw the box not far from the scene. A criminal case was filed against the suspect for ‘theft’.
