Housing in the capital’s closest satellite cities is in demand among Muscovites. We are talking about such settlements as Reutov, Odintsovo, Mytishchi, Vidnoye, Lyubertsy, Dolgoprudny, Krasnogorsk and Serpukhov. In an interview with RIAMO on this subject said Ekaterina Nikitina, head of real estate agency “PRO OBMEN”.
“The main advantage of residential real estate in the Moscow region over capital remains pricing. For comparison: the average cost per square meter of secondary real estate in Moscow is 288.1 thousand rubles, in the region it is 144.3 thousand rubles. So the difference is almost 2 times,” said the expert.
Also, in his opinion, the Moscow region has higher potential in terms of natural diversity, ecology and the possibility of development of the suburban real estate market.

This is 2.5 times more than the number of people planning to buy an apartment; only 9% of survey respondents expressed such a plan.
