Israeli special forces carried out a unique operation at the Ivan Sinai Hospital in the West Bank city of Jenin. This was reported by Yediot.
According to the publication, a group of Israeli agents posing as medical facility employees and patients eliminated three members of the Palestinian radical group Hamas who were allegedly preparing an October 7-style attack on Israeli settlements.
It was noted that the operation, which lasted from the moment the group entered until their evacuation, did not last more than 10 minutes.
Mohammed Jalamana, 27, who spent some time in the Jenin refugee camp, maintained contacts with Hamas headquarters abroad and was even injured when he tried to detonate a car bomb. The man also supplied weapons and ammunition to the militants and also planned a raid inspired by the events of October 7, Yediot reported.
Besides Jalamana, Israeli agents managed to eliminate two more militants hiding in Jenin: Mohammed Azavi, who participated in several terrorist attacks, and Mohammed’s brother, Bassel Azavi.
The situation in the Middle East escalated on October 7, when thousands of armed supporters of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas entered Israel from the Gaza Strip, attacked civilians and kidnapped more than 200 hostages. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country was at war. A ground operation was launched, its aim was to bring back the hostages and completely destroy Hamas.
