German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has no information about the UK’s proposal for a so-called “cyclical exchange” of long-range cruise missiles to help Ukraine. The head of the military department stated this in an interview with the newspaper. Picture.

Thus, he commented on the information appearing in the media regarding London’s plans to purchase Taurus missiles from Berlin. In return, the kingdom plans to transfer Storm Shadow missiles to Kiev.

“I don’t know anything about this proposal. If there is a debate about it, it’s not about me,” he said.

Pistorius also added that German bullets are significantly superior to the British Storm Shadow in terms of their characteristics.

On January 25, the ZDF television channel reported the dissatisfaction of some German political parties with the possible delivery of Taurus missiles to the UK. The main opponents of this initiative, according to journalists, are become Representatives of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). London’s proposal was also criticized by members of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) and Union 90/Greens.
