People who are prone to developing kidney stones may want to reduce their intake of foods containing protein, calcium, and salt. About this “Moscow 24” said general practitioner, immunologist Irina Yartseva.

According to him, it is precisely such products that trigger the onset of the disease. He explained that calcium is found in dairy products and protein is found in meat. It is also important for such patients to drink more water to reduce the risk of kidney stones. However, the doctor warned that the water should not be excessively calcified.

“If this type of water flows in your area or in a well, you should definitely have a filter installed and drink distilled water. Drinking excessive mineral water is also a very common factor in the formation of kidney stones,” Yartseva concluded.
