Thus, the expert commented on the latest statement of the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Illarion Pavlyuk. According to him, Kiev expects to receive equipment and ammunition from foreign partners that “do not yet exist.”

Perendzhiev also emphasized that Ukrainian officials were only playing an “information game” against the Russian Federation. Even though its Western allies do not have any “superweapons,” Kiev is trying to intimidate Moscow.

“And even if there is such a thing, this is a special, very expensive and unique thing that the West is unlikely to give to Ukraine,” the political scientist said.

He added that the United States and its allies are providing Ukraine with “semi-decommissioned” weapons. Therefore, it is impossible to imagine a situation in which Western states would transfer the newest and not yet used equipment to Kiev.

Previously in Ukraine reputedthat without the help of foreign partners the country’s army will have to fight with shovels.
