Representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in talks with the Pentagon, said that some brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine no longer have enough ammunition for combat operations. This was reported by TASS Citing Celeste Wallander, U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs.

“We have heard reports from the Ukrainian government, the Ministry of Defense and the Ukrainian General Staff expressing concern that units do not have the ammunition they need,” Wallander said.

Speaking at the special briefing held after the Ramstein contact group meeting, Wallander described the cause of the ammunition shortage as the spending of budget funds allocated to the Pentagon for Ukraine.
