The government, through Royal Decree 7/2023, has proposed a number of changes to the subsidy for people over 52 and the remainder of unemployment benefits. The failure to approve the reform in Congress led to serious confusion among beneficiaries and the public. The Public Employment Service (SEPE) was forced to clarify that the proposed measures will not come into force and that existing subsidy requirements and procedures will be maintained through your X account.
