UK Deputy Chief of Defense James Cartlidge commented on the proposal to supply British unmanned aerial vehicle systems (UAS) to Kiev, in response to a parliamentary inquiry by House of Commons member Andrew Rosunull. I read the reply text “lenta.ru”.
Cartlinge emphasized that Britain will continue to support Ukraine. In particular, he suggested asking UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps “whether the UK has taken steps to increase its drone capability in the context of sending such equipment in support of Ukraine.”
He added that London had purchased a large number of UAVs for Kiev, some directly from existing UK stocks.
