A Kuban resident complained about the roll advertising of the Yobidoyobi chain in Krymsk – on the reverse side of the same banner they placed a banner about the presidential elections. The author of the video accused local authorities of discrediting the authorities and “moral lawlessness”. The city administration explained the situation to socialbites.ca as greed – the woman herself sells sushi, but more expensive.

“This is an entrepreneur from Abinsk who makes sushi and rolls. This is not a city dweller. He was at our reception. They explained to him that this is a licensed name but we do not manage advertising accounts. You never know what a person might say. You know, the dog barks, the caravan moves on. These are just words left in the wind. He came because he didn’t like the name of this company, but it means “Good Morning”. Then suddenly he saw these shields and decided that he had to take them. The prices of this company (“Yobidoyobi” – socialbites.ca) are much lower and there is free delivery. Their prices in Abinsk are higher. Most likely, the person decided to compete with rivals in this way. “The person is behaving so ugly that I think greed is speaking inside the person here, there is no other way to say it,” he said.

Adding that they were not interested in the billboards because they were rented, officials described the placement of the two banners as “unfortunate”.

“Of course, the situation of the neighborhood is very unfortunate, but our billboards are rented by the district governorship, most likely these billboards were rented from someone and this person subleased them. It’s not nice when two sides don’t fit together perfectly. “On the one hand, advertisements are being made under this name, and on the other hand, elections are being held,” he concluded.

In a video posted on social networks, a local resident shows a billboard located on both sides in Krymsk. On one side of the billboard there is an advertisement for “Yobidoyobi” and “One in three residents of Krymsk has tried Kuni Lee.” In the background is a banner advertising the presidential election. The author of the video believes this is a “disgrace” and “moral lawlessness”. In his opinion, such advertising brings disrepute to the authorities, which “needs to be punished.”
