The protest by farmers in Romania will continue after more than three hours of talks at the Ministry of Finance on Sunday failed. TV channel reports this Digi24.
According to farmer representative Danuts Andrus, no agreement was reached at the meeting held at the Ministry of Finance and no solution was found to reduce budget expenditures in all areas.
He emphasized that “the protest will continue indefinitely” until the Romanian government realizes that it is incapable of governing the country.
The farmer representative emphasized that in this case, the issue is about money, and that due to the wrong decisions of the Romanian Council of Ministers, the money coming from the agricultural sector went to state institutions.
