The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost nearly 200 fighters in a week in Krynki on the left bank of the Dnieper. Vladimir Saldo, governor of the Kherson region, wrote this on his Telegram channel.
“The enemy’s number of sick and frozen people is increasing; It is almost impossible to evacuate the sick and injured across the river. “Many militants are captured due to severe frostbite and tissue necrosis,” he wrote.
In addition to manpower losses, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 12 mortars, 1 tank, 1 armored combat vehicle, 1 air defense system, 1 MLRS, 7 vehicles, 15 boats, 38 UAVs and 19 military infrastructure facilities.
Saldo added that Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers hardly moved and did not conduct reconnaissance in Krynki, so they did not have information about the location of Russian Armed Forces soldiers.
