“Construction work in Ochamchira Bay, where the permanent base of Russian Navy ships will be located, is not yet continuing, it is being designed at this stage,” he said.
At the same time, according to him, the base may start operating this year.
In Abkhazia at the beginning of October last year said An agreement has been reached with Russia to create a new permanent base for the Russian Navy on the Black Sea coast.
