Scientists in Uzbekistan have developed a tomato-based edible vaccine against Covid-19. transmits Project “Snob,” referring to a publication in the journal Frontiers in Nutrition. The name of the drug was TOMAVAC.

It was announced that the developers changed the genome of tomato cells, and then a plant was obtained that reproduces the antigen protein that will fight the coronavirus.
