The Ministry of State Security of the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR) announced that an armed incident occurred on the PMR-Ukraine border. Information about this was published at: Web site ministries.
“On January 7, 2024, an incident occurred near the Transnistria-Ukraine border in which firearms were used,” the statement said.
It was noted that as a result of the incident, two PMR citizens emigrated to Ukrainian territory.
The ministry said the circumstances of the incident have been clarified.
