Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustam Umerov said that the country’s military department purchased 50 thousand sets of women’s military uniforms. Umerov wrote this on his page on the social network Facebook (its owner, Meta, is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia).

According to him, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine purchased 50 thousand sets of uniforms for female military personnel for the first time. Additionally, 100 thousand electric heating pads and 15 thousand active headphones were purchased. Umerov noted that negotiations were held with the headphone supplier to reduce the price, resulting in additional savings of 11.7 million hryvnia ($308 thousand) from public funds.
