The academy announced that the content of secondary metabolites (substances that have a beneficial effect on the human immune system) is increased in the Knyazhenka material. The technology developed by Russian scientists makes it possible to control the process of accumulation of valuable substances at the germination stage. The press service noted that this was achieved as a result of “elimination of cell cultures” with chemical compounds.
The new technology will be used in pharmacy. Today, princes make jam from the berries, and the leaves are used as part of medicinal herb infusions.
