Almost 90 percent of citizens living in new regions of Russia received Russian passports. An official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported this on the Telegram channel. Irina Volk.

As Volk said, nine document printing facilities were deployed in the new regions, in the Rostov region and Crimea, to document the population. The network of units on migration issues includes 100 units in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Services for people with limited mobility are provided by mobile groups.

“The measures taken made it possible to document with a Russian passport approximately 90% of residents of the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation,” said a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Irina Volk announced that the ministry will continue to work to provide services to citizens in new regions in 2024.
