Employees of land acquisition centers (TCC) in the Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine received the right to check citizens’ documents and belongings. This was reported by local publication Strana.ua.

The material indicates that additional martial law measures were introduced in the Sinelnikovsky and Dnieper regions. At the same time, according to journalists, the relevant decree of the regional administration is not limited only to checking documents and items by employees of the military commissariat.

In addition, a special entry and exit regime was introduced to these regions. This order means restricting the freedom of movement of people and vehicles.

Also, military command offices should soon appear in the Dnieper and Sinelnikovsky districts. As stated in the publication, they will be led by the heads of regional acquisition centers.

December 28, head of the National Police of Ukraine Ivan Vygovsky commented An initiative where law enforcement agencies could be given the right to independently serve citizens via subpoena and not involve the military in the process. The expert opposed this idea and emphasized that each structure should do its own job.

Previously in Kiev spoke about issuing summonses at checkpoints.
