The country’s statistical office noted that consumer prices in December 2023 increased by 6.6% compared to December of the previous year and will increase by 4.1% next year. About 78% of survey respondents said prices had increased significantly during the year.
The survey showed that only 10% of consumers are ready to buy something expensive in December 2023. Experts also noted that the percentage of people planning to buy real estate or a car has decreased.
