The Russian military uses small radar stations to protect against Ukrainian drones; These stations are capable of detecting enemy drones from tens of kilometers away. General Director of the Rostec state company Sergei Chemezov talked about this in an interview RIA News.
According to him, the radars created by the company are installed in the most dangerous directions. The systems immediately transmit information for further elimination of detected drones.
Chemezov noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces regularly try to attack Russian targets, mostly civilians, with attack drones. Dozens of them are released every day, many are destroyed.
The head of Rostec also added that Ukrainian troops use UAVs as part of combined attacks, combining their use with attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, cruise, tactical and ballistic missiles.
Also Chemezov saidThat Russian air defense (air defense) and electronic warfare (EW) systems have created no-fly zones for Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
Previously in Russia was created new drone suppression system.
