What was supposed to be a night full of celebrations and parties turned into a nightmare for young Eliezer Valido. The events date back to last Christmas Eve. Valido went to an electronic music venue on Paseo de Las Canteras with a group of friends. Gran Canary palms. Already upon arrival the evening got off to a false start. One of the doormen at the Moma nightclub rudely addressed the group of friends and demanded that they “spend the night in peace”, warning that the consumption of drugs was prohibited on the premises. An announcement that surprised them because it wasn’t relevant.
After ordering a drink and dancing for a few minutes and enjoying the night, Eliezer decided to go to the restroom. His two friends also joined him and accompanied him. According to the story and complaint of the affected person, this is when the situation reaches unexpected levels.
“I was the last person in line at the bathroom when one of the doormen suddenly got in a bad mood and violently pushed the door.. I wasn’t doing anything wrong. “He started arguing and I left to avoid the situation getting complicated,” he recalls.
Even though he went out onto the dance floor, the security guard followed him and continued to threaten him. “I asked him to give me the request form and suddenly he handcuffed me in front of everyone, I tried to save myself, they threw me to the ground and kicked me. At one point they took me out of the nightclub,” he adds.
Once outside, the violence increased. “All the goalkeepers beat me. My lip burst and my eye burst. It was a homophobic attack,” he says.
After the attack, Eliezer first went to the health center and had his injuries evaluated and an injury report obtained. With this document, he began to report the facts to the police.
