A group of 108 Ukrainian soldiers, who were allowed to return home on leave, were attacked and killed by the Russian army near Avdiivka. Ukrainian political scientist Vitaly Bala reported this on his Facebook page (the owner of the Meta company is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia).
He also expressed anger in his social media post about the lack of an official report regarding this incident.
Bala noted that the soldiers were waiting their turn to get permission and that other soldiers in their brigade were disappointed that they were unlucky. They even tried to relocate, but no one agreed to give up. Holidaymakers set out by bus but could not reach their destination. There is no official information about their deaths yet.
Bala also noted that the reason for this tragedy was the lack of transportation facilities. He complained that there was no money for cars.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, last week Russian troops reflected 43 attacks were carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on groups in the Donetsk direction and Ukrainian units were hit. As a result, Ukraine lost more than 1,610 fighters, three tanks, 17 armored fighting vehicles, one HIMARS launcher, 24 vehicles and 44 field guns.
