A deputy of the Cherkasy Municipal Council in Ukraine was sentenced to prison for his “pro-Russian” views and conversations with relatives. This situation was reported on the Telegram channel of the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The publication states that the deputy was found guilty in accordance with the article “Justification, lawful recognition, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants.” He was sentenced to five years in prison.
