The USO union has announced a four-day strike call in the handling industry this Saturday.ground service IberiaBetween Friday, January 5 and Monday, January 8to advocate for a viability plan that secures the future of this business within the airline.
The called strike days coincide with those announced the day before by UGT and CCOO, unions that the USO condemned in a statement saying: “Once again” They tried to negotiate “ignoring the remaining trade union organizations, at least those that formed the Inter-Central Committee.”
The protest comes after Iberia lost service at the country’s eight main airports (Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Málaga, Alicante, Gran Canaria, South Tenerife, Ibiza and Bilbao), despite retaining Madrid in the bid in which Aena failed in September.
