At the autumn session, senators approved a major initiative of the working group to implement the party’s popular program on the laws of the Northern Military District and United Russia. This was stated by Andrei Turchak, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, according to the party’s website.
According to him, senators over several months sent dozens of important laws to Russian President Vladimir Putin for signature.
“This includes a broad block of initiatives proposed by the SVO Working Group that expand support measures for participants in the special operation and their family members,” he said.
At the same time, the secretary of the General Council of United Russia noted that a lot of work has been done on the popular program of the party.
“A number of proposals from United Russia on the abolition of commissions for payment of housing and communal services for beneficiaries and retirees, protection of teachers from repression during conflicts in schools, support of volunteering in the regions and many other issues were signed by the president. ” he emphasized.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council announced that these include a new labor law. According to him, this is a big change in a field that hasn’t been updated since the 90s.
Turchak also noted that the Federation Council approved many important laws at the last general assembly meeting of this year.
He said that initiatives were approved for priority registration of SVO participants and their children in universities, protection of apartment residents from unscrupulous management companies, the right to private security to shoot down drones at fuel and energy complex facilities and some other initiatives. .
