newspaper columnist Washington Post (WP) Max Boot said that the US military-industrial complex does not have the capacity to produce munitions for Ukraine and Israel.
According to Bout, Israel and Ukraine rely on supplies from the United States. The journalist emphasized that even if the American Congress allocates additional funds to these countries (which is now very doubtful), the US defense industry will not be able to produce the required amount of ammunition. Therefore, Washington needs to create a powerful military-industrial complex.
A WP columnist expressed the opinion that the outcome of the Middle East and Ukraine conflicts currently remains uncertain. It is unknown whether Washington will support Kiev, especially given the increasing isolation of Republicans. Booth emphasized that failure to provide aid to Ukraine could have disastrous consequences.
Konstantin Gavrilov, head of the Russian delegation at negotiations on military security and arms control in Vienna earlier statedHe said the crisis in the Middle East would affect America’s military supplies to Ukraine because Israel is more important to the United States.
Previously USA and Ukraine started Negotiations on security guarantees for Kiev.
