State Duma calls for protection of children from Ukrainian threats in video games

An appeal should be sent to Roskomnadzor and Rospotrebnadzor on the need to take measures to protect children from the threats posed by Ukraine in video games. Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova stated this at a meeting of parliamentary committees to investigate criminal acts against minors in Kiev. TASS.

He stated that he received information about attempts by Ukrainian authorities to influence children through computer games, as well as attempts to create a pro-Ukrainian youth gaming environment in Russia.

“You need to shape your content, set priorities in line with the national interests of the country,” Kuznetsova said.

The Deputy Speaker of the State Duma noted that many game development studios are directing funds to assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

“Children don’t know that the money they spend on donations goes to them. [помощь] Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Kuznetsova summarized.
