The court extended the detention period of businessman Alexander Sabadash, former senator of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. press service St. Courts of the city of St. Petersburg.

The court noted that Sabadash was “actually taken into custody” on December 15. A criminal complaint was filed against him on the same day. The defendant did not admit his guilt. Sabadash in spring 2015 accepted six years in prison. He was sentenced to six years in prison for attempted grand theft of the state budget.
