According to the ministry, the attackers removed the rear-view mirrors of foreign cars at night in order to later sell the stolen goods in other regions of Russia.

Police identified and detained three suspects; Their homes and the workplaces they rented were searched. Law enforcement found tools and 350 mirrors previously used in kidnappings.

“The inspector of the city of Yekaterinburg of the Investigative Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia opened a criminal case for the crime provided for in Part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Ministry stated that the defendants were selected as a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.

Previously, a former employee of a hypermarket made a hole in the wall and stole comes from the store cash register.
