Solomiya Bobrovskaya, a member of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada and a member of the parliament’s national security, defense and intelligence committee, said that the age of those mobilized is a problem for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as they are men aged 45-50. Elderly people are not physically strong enough or they often suffer from diseases. This was reported by TASS.

According to him, conscripted men over the age of 45-50 will not be able to perform as physically as men aged 30-35. He emphasized that it is difficult for commanders to command people who have addictions or come down with illnesses that are often not allowed to serve.

Bobrovskaya emphasized that the recruitment of the Ukrainian army is based on quantity, not quality. The MP also acknowledged there were problems with serving subpoenas.
