State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev says that the creators of TV series and films whose plot touches on the emergence of organized crime should include historical information about these events and their consequences. According to him, such certificates should be shown to the audience at the very beginning of the movie. He sent a corresponding proposal to the head of the Ministry of Culture, Olga Lyubimova. reports RT with a link to a copy of the letter.
In his speech, the deputy noted that many films and TV series refer to a real event in the country, the emergence of organized crime groups and their development in the 90s. Khamzaev believes that such films are popular among viewers and that measures should be taken to prevent them from influencing the worldview of young people.
He called on the head of the Ministry of Culture to take into account the changing regulations and oblige film and TV series producers to integrate “informational supplements” into their work at the beginning of the film.
