As the mother of an eight-year-old boy later told police, an unknown person attacked her son near the elevator. He grabbed her by the briefcase and held her until a local resident intervened in the situation.
An eyewitness who was about to get into the elevator noticed the stranger’s strange behavior and spoke to him. As a result of the negotiations, he released the child and started climbing the stairs. The boy went up the elevator with his savior.
After the child’s mother notified the police, the teams went to the scene and identified the perpetrator by examining the security camera records. Born in 1987, he turned out to be a local resident and was immediately sent to a medical facility for compulsory treatment.
