A resident of Vladivostok stole a taxi car and robbed the driver. In this respect reports Primorye police.

A 64-year-old man contacted his duty station after being robbed and then having his car taken away. The applicant explained that he worked as a taxi driver and was robbed by a customer he brought to Vladivostok’s 100th Anniversary Boulevard. He obviously stole her phone and ran away. The injured man tried to catch up with the attacker but was unable to do so, and when he returned, he realized his Toyota Prius was missing.

Police found the stolen car near Ilyichev Street. After inspection, it was revealed that 18 thousand rubles were missing from the car. The identity and location of the attacker were quickly determined. The 29-year-old suspect, who was taken to the police, confessed to robbery, car theft and money theft.

He was detained as a precaution.

Previously convicted resident of the Irkutsk region accepted 16 years in prison for attacking a taxi driver.
