According to the press service, at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” 360 thousand lights were lit on fir trees decorated according to regional traditions of all 89 regions of the country.
“Christmas Trees of Russia” is a project to create a collection of decorative elements using the most striking historical and cultural motifs of Russian arts and crafts from around the country. They were decorated by professional designers together with members of the Forest Volunteers movement.
18 Santa Clauses from different regions of Russia gathered on the stage; Chyskhaan, the winter spirit in the Yakut saga, handed over the wand of cold to the chief wizard of the land, after which festive illuminations were lit on all the fir trees. Exhibition Forum “Russia”.
“Behind me is what we did together with the leaders of the regions of our country: 90 Christmas trees. “89 of them represent all regions of Russia, each of you can find your own most beautiful and favorite Christmas tree and take a photo with it,” he said.
After the exhibition is over, spruce trees will be planted near VDNKh.
International exhibition and forum “Russia” takes place at VDNKh. Visitors are offered exhibitions of 89 regions of Russia, leading federal departments, companies and public organizations. The exhibition will last until April 12.
