Russia will create training programs to train operators of Okhotnik heavy attack drones. This has been reported RIA News in the state company “Rostec”.
The state company noted that the United Aircraft Manufacturing Company’s factory in Novosibirsk is currently preparing to produce an installation batch and then produce unmanned aerial vehicles suitable for the needs of the state customer. It was also stated that a training program was developed for flight personnel for the accelerated commissioning of units to be equipped with the new UAV.
Rostec stated that Okhotnik is currently in the preliminary testing phase.
The length of the “Hunter” drone is 14 meters. The device is made according to the “flying wing” scheme. The device will be able to carry a combat load of up to eight tons and have a takeoff weight of over 20 tons. Rostec concluded that the drone’s arsenal would include guided bombs and missiles.
