Hazardous weather is expected in most parts of European Russia on November 27. This was reported by TASS Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.
As Vilfand said, Monday will be dangerous and worrying not only for Moscow, but also for the European side of Russia.
He warned that abnormally cold weather is expected in the Northwestern Federal District, heavy snow, blizzards and ice are expected in Arkhangelsk, Leningrad regions and Karelia, and “unstable weather” will be experienced, especially in the Central and Southern Federal Districts.
The forecaster noted that heavy and wet snow, snowdrifts, ice, sleet and winds of up to 15-20 m/s are expected in all regions of the Central Federal District.
In addition, heavy snowfall and winds of up to 13-18 m/s are expected in the Astrakhan and Volgograd regions. Rain and sleet will be seen in Crimea, and winds with speeds up to 35-40 m/s will be seen in the mountains. In the Rostov region and Stavropol region, wind speed reaches up to 24-28 m/s. According to him, dangerous weather will be experienced in the Krasnodar Territory between 27-29 November.
According to the forecast, snow, sleet, rain, freezing rain and ice are expected in the Perm Region, Kirov Region and Tatarstan.
